Is the pouch adhesion secure?

Make sure your stoma pouch fits correctly and your skin has been cleaned and prepared. This should help you to achieve a good seal and the adhesive should not lift when wearing your pouch.

If you do have adhesion issues, you can try re-measuring your stoma to ensure a snug fit.

If adhesion is still a problem for you, it may be time to consider alternative stoma pouches that fit your body better. Bodies and stomas come in all different shapes and sizes, so if a stoma pouch isn’t quite working for you, it might be time to try something new.
