For most ostomates, medical adhesive removers [MARs] are a vital part of a stoma care routine as they help protect the sensitive skin around the stoma from damage and irritation.
MARs are often used in the form of sprays or wipes and aim to minimise medical adhesive-related skin injury. If adhesive products are not removed properly then damage to your skin can occur, impacting your safety and quality of life.
